the 5th Annual Fife Elementary FOOD DRIVE
& the 100th Day of School celebration!
Put these 2 events together and get your class to donate 100 items for the Food Drive!
What is a food drive?
A food drive is a way to collect non-perishable food items to help restock the shelves of one of our community's local food banks. We can bring canned and boxed food to help families in need.
When do we send the food to school?
We will be collecting food on February 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th.
Bring the food to your class so your teacher can update our totals list.
⭐️ Mrs. Gallagher's class will visit each floor to collect the items on 2/12 in the afternoon.
Is there a dress up day? Yes! Two kinds!
On Wednesday, 2/11 for our celebration day, wear clothing with pictures of food and/or food words to get motivated OR wear clothes with NUMBERS to celebrate the 100th Day of Learning.
Where will the food go?
We will take the donations to the Fife-Milton Food Bank at St. Martin of Tours in Fife.
Are there class goals?
Each class throughout the whole school should try to bring in at least 100 items. If they meet that goal, they will earn Otter Pops. Some teachers might plan other incentives too.

Donation ideas: cereal, canned soups, baby food, easy to prepare dry mixes, crackers, granola, canned fruits & vegetables, feminine hygiene products…

Items needed for registration:
- Copy of your student’s birth certificate
- Complete immunization record (provider verified)
- A family member’s working email
- Proof of residency within the Fife School District (ex. mortgage/lease agreement or utility bill showing your physical address)
